today not bad ah..Jr n i paired up den we went to orchard to sell flags for those students who atr in "bad conditions"... upon reaching the place, wow! we saw ppl that were doing the same flag day as us ah.. so we started lookinf for a spot that is empty so we can stationed there ... but!!! in less dan 100m, u can see at least one of them stationed there.. how to sell flag ah? den we spent so much time walking abt... suck lor.. luckily as we were walking aimlessly, we manged to get some donations from the ppl there.. (thanks for donating to us)
finally ard 11am we saw Huimin and Xh... they r our saviours.. they let us have a place in their "turf" and we managed to get a sumful of donations from the ppl.. I tell u sth.. The caucasianz there rocks lor.. they practically took out all their coins from their pocket or wallet and put them into the bag.. shiok lor.. no coins den they put notes..however , there are some kiasee ppl who seem to avoided us like plague! some say they haf no $$ ... CRAP! no $$ still carry so many goods.. den we haf our lunch at mac, we slacked for an hour..Jr was funny lor.. as dere were those mac ppl giving ballons, he started taking them for XH and huimin..ha.. so childish. after dat we continued again. finally, we finished our 1st sheet of stickers..40 stickers done! finally ... @ ard 1425, we kept everything and started making our way back to wheelock place to meet mdm ho and handed her our bag and went home.. in total , Jr and i sold 80 flags.. although not a lot but we put in our efforts..
